Description

Apparently the Python 3 bindings have evolved, breaking retro-compatibility, since http://diamon.org/babeltrace/ was last updated. The documentation is consequently badly wrong by now. None of the examples work.

Across the board, instances of import babeltrace.common, import babeltrace.reader, and import babeltrace.writer must be changed to just import babeltrace. The class babeltrace.writer.Writer is now babeltrace.CTFWriter. The babeltrace.EventDeclaration no longer has an id property.

State of babeltrace moved a lot since.

Closing this ticket as invalid. Reopen it if it stills apply to Babeltrace 2.
