Description
Apparently the Python 3 bindings have evolved, breaking retro-compatibility, since http://diamon.org/babeltrace/ was last updated. The documentation is consequently badly wrong by now. None of the examples work.
Across the board, instances of import babeltrace.common
, import babeltrace.reader
, and import babeltrace.writer
must be changed to just import babeltrace
. The class babeltrace.writer.Writer
is now babeltrace.CTFWriter
. The babeltrace.EventDeclaration
no longer has an id
property.

State of babeltrace moved a lot since.
Closing this ticket as invalid. Reopen it if it stills apply to Babeltrace 2.
