location->type is LTTNG_TRACE_ARCHIVE_LOCATION_TYPE_UNKNOWN (integer value 0), and thus it reaches the abort at line 230.

In our client code, we register a trigger instantiated with the following:

• Condition: lttng_condition_session_rotation_completed_create()
• Action: lttng_action_notify_create()

Unfortunately, I do not currently have a minimal reproducer for you. I can gather more details if needed.
