Tools 2.11 fails on destroy for lttng-modules 2.9

The following test from lttng-ivc is failing: test_modules_base_tracing[lttng-modules-2.9-lttng-tools-2.11]

This can be reproduced with head of lttng-ivc and running:

sudo tox -- -k test_modules_base_tracing[lttng-modules-2.9-lttng-tools-2.11
