Have some sample traces on lttng.org
this will allow users to test different traces. This will allow people to test their viewers and see if they are experiencing issues with the viewer or the tracer.

Uploaded your trace at: http://lttng.org/files/samples/sample-ctf-trace-20120412.tar.bz2
Any ideas as to where we should link this?
As for scripts, I'm not so sure, I think it'd be better to have a very simple procedure that's well documented, it'll actually make users learn how to use the tools. Users don't necessarily need a trace with all possible state transitions, especially not one that plays obnoxiously loud sounds through the PC speaker ;) This is more something for developers.
I had a script to take traces of an approximate size, see http://git.dorsal.polymtl.ca/~alexmont?p=lttng-utils.git;a=blob;f=gen-fixed-size-traces.py;hb=HEAD
It'd need to be updated for 2.0 though.
