Uploaded your trace at: http://lttng.org/files/samples/sample-ctf-trace-20120412.tar.bz2
Any ideas as to where we should link this?

As for scripts, I'm not so sure, I think it'd be better to have a very simple procedure that's well documented, it'll actually make users learn how to use the tools. Users don't necessarily need a trace with all possible state transitions, especially not one that plays obnoxiously loud sounds through the PC speaker ;) This is more something for developers.

I had a script to take traces of an approximate size, see http://git.dorsal.polymtl.ca/~alexmont?p=lttng-utils.git;a=blob;f=gen-fixed-size-traces.py;hb=HEAD
It'd need to be updated for 2.0 though.
